Through the Devil's Lens
In a bid to make his mark as a filmmaker, an ambitious and reckless young director delves into the occult, armed only with his camcorder and a dangerous ritual, to capture what no one else has -- footage of a real demon.
Session One
The story of a man's first therapy session. Utilising surrealism, horror tropes and experimental devices, the film creates a series of vignettes delving into the subconscious mind of the protagonist.
Of the Abyss
A man reckons with his isolation as things slowly delve into a world less and less familiar. Furthering my exploration of dejection, this is a spiritual sequel to Catatonia.
Catatonia
The film was made for HSC Extension 2 English. The primary influences were: André Breton and Salvador Dalí's Un Chien Andalou (1927), David Lynch's Eraserhead (1977) and Fritz Lang's Metropolis (1927). In it I aim to “deinstitutionalize” the mind of the audience, the characters and myself.
